We’re Hiring – Wide Format Print Technician

Awesome Merchandise is looking for a wide format print technician to join our digital print team. You will be responsible directly to the Digital Department Manager and you and your team will work on all aspects of production in wide format digital print and production.

You must have a keen eye for detail and high standards when it comes to quality, as well as an understanding of the various print processes involved to ensure orders are printed, produced and packaged in the most timely and efficient way.

The main focus of this role is ensuring wide format orders are printed and finished at an efficient pace and to a high standard. Other tasks will include performing machine maintenance and supporting the wider production team in heat press, sublimation and other production processes.

EXPERIENCE NEEDED:

Experience in wide format digital print & production.
Experience in Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop.
Working knowledge of Mimaki Finecut Plugin and Rip Softwares.
Knowledge of wide format stocks and substrates.
Stock management.

Set up in a bedroom back in 2005 by our founder Luke, we have grown to a team of 80 and now make over 9 million customised products every year. Based on the edge of Leeds city centre, from our 20,000 square foot facility we are capable of producing more than 700 different products.

We serve a vast range of customers ranging from bands and record labels, through to clothing companies and restaurant chains. Our focus is on providing an awesome experience, offering our customers the best possible products and service, with flexible print run lengths and catering for tight turnarounds.
