We’re Hiring – Screen Print Artwork Team Member

 

You will report directly to the Garment Department Manager and you and your team will work on all aspects of artwork setup for screen print. The job will consist of preparing custom artwork for screen print using a range of design packages, setting up proof images to be sent to clients for approval and separating designs ready for production. You will also be tasked with liaising with both the Screen Artwork Supervisor, Customer Experience team as well as the members of the garment team to ensure artwork is proofed and prepared at an efficient pace and to a high standard.

 

You must have an eye for detail and high standards when it comes to quality, as well as an understanding of the screen printing process to ensure artwork is suitable for screen printing and set up ready for production in the most timely and efficient way.

 

You will also be tasked with communicating with clients regarding their designs both via email and telephone. This includes contacting customers for proof approval, discussing design specification, advising customers on artwork suitability and providing technical advice.

 

EXPERIENCE NEEDED

We are looking for someone with any form of experience in artwork setup for screen print however please let us know if you have specific experience in the following:

–  Adobe Photoshop and the Adobe Design Package (Illustrator, InDesign etc).
–  Spot Colour separation
–  CMYK Process and Simulated Process Separation
–  Separation for Halftone screen printing

An understanding of the screen printing process including knowledge of mesh counts, trapping, halftone frequency and angles is not essential but would be beneficial for this role.

Salary: £18,000.00-£22,000.00 per year
