Stanley Stella’s most eco-friendly offering – Natural Raw.

Since beginning their journey in 2012, Stanley Stella have been an ever growing brand who are focused purely on simplicity, therefore ensuring that their sole focus is on the garments they create. Changing the perception of the textile industry is one of the driving forces behind the brand, and here at Awesome Merchandise we’re seeing more and more of our amazing customers choose these garments each and every day.

We offer Stanley Stella garments in a huge range of colours, and we’ve found an increase in the number of our customers who are opting for something more earth conscious and eco-friendly, without necessarily realising it. The Natural Raw colour of products that we offer are not just the shade name of the garment stock, there’s much more to it than that.

Ever wondered what Natural Raw truly means? Well, here’s where we come in. Natural Raw simply refers to the true colour of organic cotton:

–  No dyeing is involved, giving it a pure effect and also making it extremely sustainable. A blank canvas for you to unleash your creativity onto.
–  It includes tiny specs of the original cotton plant and seed particles, making the overall look of the garment more textured. Stanley Stella pride themselves on the imperfections of their Natural Raw range.

The process of creating the Natural Raw garments is much more environmentally friendly, it’s a very gentle process at the spinning mill, using fewer chemicals, less water and less energy. By cutting out the dying step in their production line, it makes these garments much more sustainable and eco-friendly. The garments are soft to the touch, beautifully imperfect and the ideal canvas to spark your creativity. The cotton thread used in these garments absorb colours much easier than their polyester counterparts, therefore making the possibilities for high quality printing and creative customisation much greater.

As a company, Stanley Stella only works with 100% organic cotton and recycled materials. They work closely with their suppliers to source the ultimate quality raw materials, which are grown and produced in ways that do not harm people, animals or the environment. They only exclusively use 100% GOTS Certified organic cotton from India, recycled polyester from China and other sustainable materials.
