How To Make The Most Of Our Savings Bundle

Tagged with:

We have launched a new product but we thought it would be good for you to see the reasoning behind why we do what we do. Here are 5 tips to help you get the most from our savings bundles. Number 5 will make you scream! Or whatever those weird spammy blogs say… Check out our A3 art print bundle & our A6 postcard bundle.

1. Do The Math(s) Part 1 – Cost & RRP

The prices for our A3 art prints are below:

  • 100 art prints for £99
  • 250 art prints for £175
  • 500 art prints for £225
  • 1000 art prints for £350

Take a look at the market and see what competitors / friends charge for their prints. We would say £10-15 seems like a reasonable amount but this depends on personal factors.

The prices for our A6 postcards are below:

  • 1000 postcards for £79
  • 2000 postcards for £129
  • 5000 postcards for £199

Again, take a look on etsy and compare prices on postcards. We would say £1-2 each but these could also be used for giving away with orders, as thank you cards, or flyers to advertise your shop at events.

2. Do The Math(s) Part 2 – Profit Margins

It’s really good to look at your order with us based around what you would charge and the potential profit you could make. Going off £10 per print and selling every print you order you stand to make.

  • Order of 100 = £1000. Profit of £901
  • Order of 250 = £2500. Profit of £2325
  • Order of 500 = £5000. Profit of £4775
  • Order of 1000  = £10,000. Profit of £9650

£10 is on the low end honestly but you can that it doesn’t take too many sales to get into profit. Now try this for postcards and go from there. You might find that lower cost orders work better for you but if you are a power seller, it’s a no brainer if you have the space.

3. Etsy Works On Quantity (As Well As Quality)

Etsy has changed a lot over the years but they really reward makers that have lots of designs on their store. This is where the 10 different design part comes into play. 1 order with us and you now can have 10 new designs, which can create multiple products on your site. This strategy can help to generate more views and more sales.

4. Create Your Own Bundles / Packs

The beauty of having up to 10 designs for free is that you can create your own bundles and extend the amount of items you have in your shop. With art prints you could do a promotion where people buy 2 and get the 3rd for free. Or you could sell a five print bundle for £30, instead of the RRP of £50. The options are endless.

With postcards, packs are very popular. It’s really easy to source good, sustainable packaging for housing multiple postcards. You could get some paper stickers printed for the packaging to give the packs a professional finish. In our experience, bundling low cost items like this greatly improves the chance of selling them, especially at events.

5. Split A Larger Order With A Friend

Don’t tell anyone we told you this!

If you don’t have enough designs or can’t justify spending more to get more. You can go into the order with one or more friend and split the amount of designs and the cost. This will help to save way more money in the long run and will get you into profit way quicker.

For example, instead of ordering 500 art prints (£225) for yourself, you could split 1000 art prints (£350, £175 each) with a friend and you will each save £50 before you’ve even started. Which means that it will take 5 potential less sales to get into profit.

Hope these tips helped. Again, check out our A3 art print bundle & our A6 postcard bundle.
